get lost

well,

i am officially lost in london. doing my best to get lost, anyway. as tired as i was (after 14 hours in transit), following a shower, i hit the streets. 8:30 am in london and barely anyone about yet. alone and clueless, i hopped on the first bus i saw and prayed for the best. it took me south to london downtown. found my way to covent gardens where i shed a little tear of weirdness and joy. what an odd place i've put myself in. in the sense of being homeless and directionless at the moment. but it is freeing. it will be nice to have tyler here as a partner in crime though, and maybe down the road finding a nice gentleman to take me out. being alone and doing this is very satistying, but lonely as all hell, all the same. just what the doctor ordered i think?

for the time being the internet at scott and joel's isn't happening. so i found a big ol internet cafe near picadilly, may catch hepC from this keyboard but i have my trusty anti-bac gel. the weather, i'm told, is sunny and warm for the first time all spring. so flip flops and aviators make my wanderings look oh-so cool. commodities in general are the same here, as far as fashion trends and the like. but i must say, the majority of good looking people is high for what i've seen today. it's hard to be the only person who looks like they have nowhere to go. all the other hipsters, cell phones at cheeks and english accents ricocheting, are on the move!

i had a breakfast of bangers, ham, 2 eggs and tomatoes, sans salt, as i should - on a little patio in the shade of an acorn tree. traffic bustling in all the wrong directions. later, a beer at the punch and judy pub in covent gardens, troving over a london time-out for good shows - the bravery tomorrow night!

of course i left my camera cord at home, the one thing, the most important thing, so i hope my father coordinates with tyler to get that in her travel bag - then next week i shall have some lovely pics up on the website. not much more to report at the moment, but i will be in touch, and miss everyone like mad. seeing everyone in those last days meant so much to me, reenforcing how much you all mean to me.

my phone is not yet opperational either so i'm feeling really out of touch. having pictured myself tapped in, logged on, roaming and wireless - this comes as a preliminary minor setback. but overall - smoooth sailings!!! : )
