get lost

well, i am settled in paris. pretty much. so far so good. the roman holiday was amazing. what can i say?! caprese salad every day and men who sing! all over the place. for no reason but to bellow some italian song. beautiful. fancy women doubling each other on vespas. martini blancos. ruins at night. not during the day. avoided the vatican all together. (the papalcy can have itself, really.) so walking, gelatos, shoes, and fantastic meals basically took up the 4 day stay. and was it worth it! view the photos in 'images and imaginings'. ok, these journals suck, i know. i want to go into greater detail but it's been hectic. tyler leaves sunday, then i will take the writing more seriously. i've got it stored. so paris in brief, i live on a cute street in the marais. i love paris. i can't wait to get on a bicycle and improve my french enough for a restaurant job, maybe, or something. either way it's been my favorite place so far. style style style up the wazoo. cute men everywhere. bicycles, walk where and when you want, buy fresh baguettes and pain au chocolat, dogs not on leashes, cafes everywhere, museums, nooks, energy, pashminas, jewlery and more style. my roommate rocks the house. and the 6th floor walk up will keep the cheese, riclettes, pates, eggs and sausages off. hopefully. and i'll have so much more to report when the mayhem dies down. xoxo banana
